The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is conducting the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2024 on 26 April 2026 (Sunday). This exam, notified under Advertisement No. 08/2025, determines the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges across Jharkhand, and also for admission into PhD programs. The exam was originally scheduled for 29 March 2026 but was postponed by JPSC on 21 March 2026 due to administrative reasons.

What makes JET unique is that the eligibility certificate has lifetime validity — once you qualify, you are permanently eligible for Assistant Professor posts in Jharkhand. There is also no upper age limit, making it accessible to candidates at any stage of their academic career.
