Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. UPSC allows final-year or final-semester candidates to appear provisionally, but you must submit proof of having passed before the Personality Test stage, not before the written exam.

Centre allotment is UPSC's final decision and cannot be changed after the e-admit card is issued; report to the printed centre with the admit card as-is, since change requests are not entertained at this stage.

No. PET and the medical examination are scheduled separately, only for candidates who clear both Paper I and Paper II — UPSC announces PET dates after the written result, not alongside this admit card.

The e-Admit Card portal on upsconline.nic.in also has a "Forgot Registration ID/Password" link that lets you retrieve access using your registered mobile number or email; use that instead of re-registering.
