Candidate Pathway: What to Do Now

  1. Open the official final result list on the SSC website and search for your roll number.
  2. Read the result write-up for your allocated post code and department, and the cut-off details of the last selected candidate.
  3. Wait for document verification and appointment communication from the user department to which you are allocated. SSC does not handle these.
  4. If you receive no communication from your user department within six months of the final result, contact that department directly (Para 11 of the write-up).
  5. Keep your SSC login details safe: final answer keys and detailed marks will be uploaded on the SSC website later.

Important Points From the Official Write-up

  • No reserve list or waiting list is prepared by SSC. Unfilled vacancies and vacancies from non-joining are carried forward to later years by the departments.
  • Tie-break order: marks in Section-I of Tier-II, then marks in Tier-I, then date of birth (older candidate placed higher).
  • Dossiers of qualified candidates are compiled electronically and downloaded by the departments’ nodal officers through SSC’s e-dossier module. Dossiers received through any other mode should not be accepted.
  • SSC will not entertain correspondence from shortlisted candidates about document verification or appointment formalities.
  • The other details of the FRTA write-up dated 17.08.2026 continue to apply where they do not contradict the final result write-up.

Common Mistakes

  • Confusing the CHSL 2025 final result with the CHSL 2026 recruitment, which is a separate cycle.
  • Expecting a waiting list: SSC has stated that none is prepared.
  • Writing to SSC about joining or document verification instead of the allocated department.
  • Using result PDFs from unofficial websites. Check your roll number only in the official SSC list.
