Pay Scale
The rulebook gives the pay scale for Constable (Driver) as Rs. 19,500 – 62,000. As per the MP government circular cited in the rulebook, a stipend of 70%, 80% and 90% of the minimum of the pay scale is paid in the first, second and third year respectively, plus allowances approved by the government.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Applying without a valid heavy-vehicle driving licence. The rulebook makes it mandatory.
- Applying as a woman candidate: these posts are for male candidates only.
- Claiming reservation or age relaxation without an MP domicile certificate. Candidates from other states can apply only against unreserved posts, with no relaxation.
- Confusing this recruitment with the separate MP Police Constable (GD) recruitment.
- Using unofficial application links. Apply only through the MPESB portal.
