UP Home Guard PET Admit Card 2026 – Direct Download Link — 41,424 Posts

Current-stage eligibility: The UP Home Guard PET is not open to every original applicant. It is for candidates who were declared successful or provisionally successful after document scrutiny and the Physical Standard Test (DV/PST).

Who can appear in the PET?

• Candidates who cleared or were provisionally cleared in the DV/PST stage.
• Candidates whose PET date, time and centre are shown on the official PET admit card.
• Provisionally cleared candidates remain subject to the Board's final decision on their DV/PST status.

UP Home Guard PET running standards

The PET is qualifying in nature. A candidate who does not complete the prescribed run within the permitted time is not eligible for enrollment and is removed from the selection process at that stage.

Important distinction

The recruitment is for 41,424 Home Guard posts, but 41,424 is not the number of candidates appearing in PET. The Board first shortlisted candidates through the written examination and DV/PST stages before the PET.

Candidate note: Do not travel to a PET centre based only on a general schedule. Download your individual admit card and follow the date, reporting time and test centre printed on it.

The UP Home Guards Enrollment 2025 recruitment is for 41,424 posts.

The September 2026 PET notices continue to reference the same 41,424-post recruitment notified on 18 November 2025.

What the vacancy number means at the PET stage

The 41,424 figure is the advertised recruitment vacancy count. It should not be confused with the number of candidates called for PET.

According to the official PET-date notice, candidates were progressed through the written examination and then called for document scrutiny and physical standard testing based on normalized written-exam marks, merit and applicable Uttar Pradesh reservation rules. The PET is for candidates who cleared or were provisionally cleared at that stage.

Current candidate focus: At this point in the lifecycle, shortlisted candidates should focus on the PET admit card, allotted centre, reporting time and prescribed running standard rather than the original application process.

Current selection stage: Candidates who progressed through the written examination and DV/PST are now moving to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
