Original Eligibility (for reference)
CEN 08/2024 was open to candidates who had passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or an equivalent ITI/NAC qualification from a recognised board. This result page is for candidates who already appeared in the CBT — applications for this cycle are closed.
Age Limit
18–36 years as on 01 January 2025, with standard SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen age relaxation as per Railway rules.

The carry-and-lift test is conducted first; only candidates who clear it get a recovery gap before attempting the run. Both components must be cleared to qualify — PET marks are not added to the final merit.
What Happens After PET
Candidates who clear PET move to Document Verification (original certificates, caste/category proof, ID) followed by a Medical Examination as per Railway medical standards. Final selection for the 32,438 Level-1 posts is based purely on the normalised CBT score — PET and DV are qualifying stages only.
