Age limit (as on 15.11.2026)
18 to 28 years for all posts: born not earlier than 16.11.1998 and not later than 15.11.2008 (both days inclusive). Upper age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years, PwBD 10 years, ex-servicemen and other categories as listed in the advertisement. The total age with all relaxations cannot exceed 55 years.

- Junior Executive (codes 07–08): document verification in Delhi at a ratio of 1:3; appointment on the online test marks.

One-fourth of the marks for a question is deducted for each wrong answer in the objective tests; there is no penalty for a blank answer. Minimum qualifying marks in the Professional/Subject Knowledge test and in the Descriptive Test are 40% for Unreserved and 35% for OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen. Each test is separately timed.

Basic pay and IDA come with other allowances and benefits as per CWC policy. Assistant Managers sign a Rs. 1,00,000 bond and Junior Executives a Rs. 50,000 bond to serve at least two years. The number of posts is tentative.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Applying while in the final year or final semester: CWC says such candidates are not eligible. The final mark sheet or certificate must be in hand by 15.11.2026.
- Using one application for several posts: each post needs a separate application and fee. Only the latest complete application for a post is kept.
- Treating 30 November as the last date: it is only for printing an application already submitted.
- Uploading a signature in CAPITAL LETTERS or a declaration not in your own handwriting. Both are rejected.
- Getting the OBC (NCL) certificate dated before 1 April 2026. It must be issued between 01.04.2026 and 15.11.2026.
