- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
- Service experience of 3 years in the officer cadre in any commercial bank, or 5 years in the officer cadre in any co-operative bank or financial institution (such as a DFI, NBFC, insurance company or investment company).
- Preference: Master’s degree in Finance, Bank Management, Co-operative Management, Business Administration or Information Technology (as a subject at graduation or post-graduation level).
- Age: 21 to 42 years as on 01.04.2026.
Assistant Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
- Preference: Master’s degree in Finance, Bank Management, Co-operative Management, Business Administration or Information Technology, and service experience in a commercial bank, co-operative bank or financial institution.
- Age: 21 to 32 years as on 01.04.2026.
Age relaxation
The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST, SEBC (OBC), women and ex-servicemen candidates, and by 10 years for persons with benchmark disability, as per the tables in the notification. A candidate in more than one category gets only one relaxation, whichever is most beneficial.
Disqualification
Candidates convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, dismissed from any co-operative institution, PSU, local authority or government, or disqualified under the OCS Act, 1962 are not eligible.
