Who Should Apply / Who Should Not

Should apply Be careful
Candidates whose qualification matches the exact department listed for the post Candidates whose degree, diploma or ITI trade is not named for that department
Candidates within the post’s upper age limit on 30.10.2026 (or eligible for a listed relaxation) SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against UR posts: no age or merit relaxation
Candidates ready for an objective test with a large domain-knowledge section (80 of 100 marks) Government employees who cannot produce a No Objection Certificate at certificate verification

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Submitting one form for two posts or two departments. A separate application form and fee is needed for each post and each specialisation, and an application cannot be transferred to another post.
  • Assuming a 10th, 12th or graduate qualification applies to every post. Qualifications are post-wise and department-wise.
  • Using an OBC-NCL or EWS certificate issued before 01.04.2026. The advertisement requires certificates issued on or after 01.04.2026.
  • Uploading the handwritten declaration in a language other than English, or written by someone else. The application is then treated as invalid.
  • Signing in CAPITAL LETTERS. Such signatures are not accepted.
  • Not saving the e-receipt. If the e-receipt is not generated, the payment has failed.

Candidate Pathway

Read the official advertisement → Match your post and department → Check age and category certificates → Register on the official portal → Upload photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration → Pay the fee online by 30.10.2026 → Save the e-receipt and print the application (by 15.11.2026) → Watch nitrr.ac.in for the screening test call letter
